IBM and BPI in $260m agreement


IBM have announced they have signed a multi-year services agreement worth $260m with the Manila-based Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). The computer hardware corporation will help the Philippines’ third largest bank undergo a digital transformation by providing it with digital development capabilities and IT infrastructure which can support an agile IT and hybrid cloud. BPI’s President and CEO, Cezar Consing, was pleased with the agreement and said it would help them “become more agile in introducing innovations.”
