U.S. equity futures bounce back

U.S. equity futures are making a strong comeback today after a disappointing day yesterday. Experts say the current slump in home sales and homebuilder shares will soon be a thing of the past due to the general rising number of mortgage applications. European banks and tech stocks, which were lagging earlier in the day, are also back up. However, analyst Wes Goodman warns that tomorrow’s scheduled Senate vote on legislation to reopen the government may cause them to weaken again. In general, the mood towards the markets is now one of a glass-half-full rather than half-empty.
